Benina Burroughs was awarded the California Farm Bureau Federation - Outanding Young Farmer and Rancher of the Year Award.

2007

Sapporo, Japan

The Burroughs Family received an International Farmer Aid Association Award, to celebrate the 55th anniversary of hosting Japanese and Brazilian cultural exchange students to visit and learn about the farm. Over 200 students have visited for at least one full year, some up to one and half years. The Burroughs family was the first in the United States to participate in this unique program which was started after World War II in an effort to help Japan rebuild it's agriculture industry.
